Polycon Industries was established in 1999 by the late Bhikham Chand Agarwal, a visionary entrepreneur who converted his dream into reality by first launching the company's first line of water storage tanks using the rotational moulding process. These tanks marketed under the trusted brand name POLYCON quickly gained a firm hold in the market.
Over the years, the business continued to widen its products by launching PVC pipes, made using some of the newest machinery, using the same POLYCON brand as above. Following a transition in leadership, the business was entrusted to the founder’s younger brother, Mr. Pramod Agarwal.
With a strong sense of purpose and a forward-thinking mindset, Mr. Agarwal brought a fresh perspective to the company. His innovative approach and strategic vision played a pivotal role in driving the business into its next phase of growth, setting new benchmarks while honouring the company’s core values and legacy.
By 2010, he expanded operations to include a dedicated Polycon Furniture Unit, which specializes in premium plastic products. The Polycon Furniture Unit has an enormous selection of economy to premium plastic chairs, dining tables, tea tables, stools and baby chairs that is "made in Assam" and sold throughout the Northeast.
In 2013, Polycon Industries reached another milestone by becoming the first manufacturer in the entire Northeast to start creating blow-moulded water storage tanks, under a new brand name PLUTON. This innovation proved Polycon Industries to be a pioneer in the premium plastic water storage space.
With a significant presence in Guwahati, Assam, and across the Northeast, Polycon Industries stands tall as one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers. While continuing to focus on delivering quality products and ensuring customer satisfaction, the company is also actively developing new offerings.
